         Persuasion is both the process and the successful outcome of influencing someone. Persuasion may use manipulation (eliciting a sense of guilt or shame using ‘shoulds’ and ‘oughts’;
incitement; proselytism; sloganeering; prompting
, or false promises). It may use charisma alone—radiating a powerful grace, beauty, confidence, awareness, or wisdom.
         Persuasion is most ethical when supported with truth, facts, and reasoned logic.
