We are born selfish, thus compassion, kindness, service to others, and generosity are learned character qualities. We must have courage to be compassionate, merciful, and generous. Generosity should protect, promote, or enhance the survival, self-determination, empowerment, development, rights, or well-being of others. Some givers appear generous, but expect future gain. If your giving is truly unselfish, you should expect no reward, and remain an anonymous source.
Your generosity will be transmitted outward, to benefit and renew humanity.
