Moderation
Each person possesses unique, innate talents and abilities. You may receive temporary attention, personal satisfaction, gratification, or other reward for performing in the extreme. Only you can regulate your obsessive-compulsive behavior, risk-taking behavior, Internet time, physical exercise, eating, sleeping, or consumption of mind-altering substances.
You must have self-awareness to recognize excesses that are adversely impacting your health, safety, and the well-being of those around you. You must have self-respect and personal discipline to behave within self-assigned limits.
Behavior in moderation will maximize your potential, and provide your greatest sense of fulfillment.
