‘What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have yet to be discovered.’ –Ralph Waldo Emerson

You have the inherent capacity to create your own realistic values, master yourself, and divest yourself of the conventional ‘herd morality’ of mass culture. May you continually expand your abilities and make every effort to learn and grow.
We are in a twenty-first-century race—the race of realistic hope and realized potential versus hopelessness and despair. If you are willing to invest in others, it is a race toward an unlimited future. Talent is universal, but opportunity is not. You can help remedy this—widen the availability of education, healthcare, development, and gender parity so that the talents of half the population are included in the building of a new future.
In your immediate world and globally if possible, help others fulfill their inherent, almost unlimited potentials. Promote balanced, stable human relationships, and a society in which people may freely exercise their human and civil rights. Support their informed decisions and aspirations. Assist and encourage them in their development of capacity, self-sufficiency, sense of mastery, and beneficence. Your actions toward their growth are the ingredients of self-transcendence.

‘We are defined not by our limitations, but by our potential.’  –President Barack Obama
